Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her adoption took place at the age of 3 by her grandmother, who lived in slums. The adoptive parents of her are both Filipinos and her white American adoptive dad has military experience. She says that her and her brother who was adopted as a baby, were abused before they joined the military. In order to move to Texas after she reached 13, her family spent some time in San Francisco to stay with her Aunt. Her father did not take action to stop the abuse psychologically, even though she says that physical violence had diminished. She enlisted in the United States Navy when she was 18 years old. Poarch began her TikTok account in April of 2020 and quickly became a household name amassing more than 40 million followers in less than eight months. Poarch posted numerous videos. Her biggest hit is a music video for Millie B's viral track Soph Aspin Send. A zoomed-in clip of her rhythmically lip-syncing the melody and jumping in time to it was a viral video that has since become TikTok's most popular video. The actress started her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts in the months after joining TikTok to benefit from her rising fame. Poarch hit her highest point of fame in December 2020. Poarch was reportedly the subject of interest of two big professionals Esports teams. FaZe Clan, 100 Thieves have expressed an interest in having her work as a freelance creator of content to promote their brands.
