Jill Hennessy

The native from Edmonton, Alberta has a multi-generational ancestry that includes Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. She has a twin sister named Jacqueline is a professional actor. Jill was able to learn a variety of languages, including Italian, French, Spanish, as she was growing up. As she was 12 years old of age, Jill started to get interested in being an actor. She began her acting career in Toronto as she was the actor in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. In the following years, she was studying improv at Second City with Deb Kimmet. After relocating in New York, Claire signed an agreement for two years in Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. She also worked in films such as RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) during her three-year run. Over the next couple of years she landed gigs in several forgettable films however, in 1999 she was cast as a lead in the miniseries uremberg with Alec Baldwin. The roles in the major series such as Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. She was cast as a lead on NBC's crime show Crossing Jordan. And in 2007, for her role in the show, she was awarded to the show she was awarded a Gracie Allen as the "Outstanding Female Leading in a Drama Series". In 2000, she was married to the actor who played her Paolo Mastropietro. They have two children together. In 2007 She was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
