Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actor as well as a performer. She is born in 1980 and is a Michigan native born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is from Polish origin (mother) in addition to German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled performer from a young age. Her role was as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency before turning 13 years old. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper ads. In addition to learning in private classes in acting, she launched her career around that time. Bell played an uncredited part in Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell participated in the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied musical theatre at the world-renowned Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell quit university in 2001, and began taking on the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. That same year, she made her first credited debut with Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her character was not shown in the credits sequence. Bell appeared featured in the Broadway revival of The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
