Awkwafina

Awkwafina was an American singer and actress started with a series of ribbing quips about the racial and sexual identities of people. Before expanding into Hollywood the singer and actress released the rap track series. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrants in Forest Hills Queens her first taste of musician life came in the form of the trumpet. The musician also had Jazz and classical training before delving into hip-hop as a teenager. In college she studied Women's Studies and Journalism. In addition, she spent an hour studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. It wasn't until she began focusing on music until the time she graduated. Her hit song My Vag, a response track to the Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in the year 2012. It would later be included on her first album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. The album also featured viral hits like the body-positive Queef as well as the wink-inducing hometown tour NYC Bitche$. The latter track connected directly to another project, Awkwafina's NYC A travel guide that was released in the year 2015. Once she had established herself as a singer and author, she chose to assume the character of an actor. As well as early shows like Girl Code and Tawk she was also featured in movies like Neighbors 2 Storks as well as Bad Rap. In the year 2018, she was offered many notable roles that were a breakthrough, like Dude Ocean's 8, or Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
